Tangier, the white city that dominates the Strait of Gibraltar, facing Spain whose outlines can be seen
Tangier has a rich history and a unique geography. The beauty of its site and its light have made it a source of inspiration for generations of the greatest artists (from Matisse to the Rolling Stones, from Delacroix to Paul Bowles, S. Burroughs, Jack Kerouac…).
During the 40s and 50s, Tangier was an international zone and a paradise for all social classes and eccentric personalities (artists, writers, millionaires, secret agents and gamblers!!).
Even today, the powerful charm of Tangier operates… From the formerly sulfurous alleys of the Petit Socco to the more than ever avant-garde terraces of the many cafes.

Larache, an Atlantic city with a fascinating past with many places to visit
Also known by the ancient name of Lixus, Larache is a Moroccan city famous for its seafront and its still very present fishing activity.
The liveliest place is located around the central square or Liberation Square (ex: plaza de España) of Arab-Andalusian style, lined with many terraced cafes. From this square, the Bab el medina gate delimits one of the entrances to the old medina, where you can stroll and discover the Esseghir souk (Little Souk), the vegetable market that is always open.
The beach, located on the other bank of the river, is accessible either on foot (300 m from the central square) with crossing by boat, or by car or by bus bypassing the river, overlooked by the city cemetery, made famous for the desire of the writer Jean Genet (1910-1986) to be buried there.
